Homeowners responsibility for renters illegal possestions
If an illegal substance, such a cocaine crack pipe, is found in a bedroom of my home that was rented to another, can i legally be held responsible? and if so what are the consequences of that being found?

Hopefully, for your sake, this renter is now long gone, and, that in the future you will be more circumspect about whom you let rooms to.
And, yes, I can envisage various scenarios in
which you, the owner of the premises, could
be incriminated by the paraphernalia which you
have described.
