Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I was indicted in Richmond for 11 counts of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and distribution of cocaine back in 1998-99. I was living outside the USA when the grand jury handed down the indictments, they were based solely on witness testimony, no drugs or money was used as evidence. The clerk of court issued a capias in September 2013, 14-15 years later for reason of trying to extradite me from a foreign country. How long is a witness testimony good for? It is going on 17 years.

Such testimony can be "good" indefinitely, for as long as the trier of fact in the case wishes to credit it (my opinion).
