injury from campus policefor a non voilent arguement

a realtive recieved a head injury from colleage campus police for a non voilent argument,about her 4 year girl spitting on another one then wasn''t allowed to perfrom in a play that same night.She demand her money back for all the school her little girl took for the play.the women called the campus police an shoved her around as if she was volient .Angry yes,voilent no.She was then taken downtown an booked ,allowed on bail for 7000.00.More than a robbery suspect or a true voilent person ever got,an that is what the bail bondsman told her.Can she sue for her damages an her record cleared?An in what court should she take it?

Sure "she can sue for damages". However, whether. in fact this relative could actually win such a suit is quite another matter and the answer is probably no(but she might want to have an attorney take a look at it in more detail, anyway).
