Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I went to jail 3 years ago for a violation on my supervised probation the judge gave me 9 months and said I got 5 yrs unsupervised so here it is and I got some felonies that have a good chance of not sticking now when I went to my bond hearing the commonwealth was trying her best to make me out to be some professional law breaker bringing up my past but all she did was point out to the judge that's it been 15 years since I've been in serious trouble so he gave me a bond on a unlikely get a bond charge my question is what are the chances that I'll get violated could I slip thru the cracks wouldn't the commonwealth brought it up that day I mean she was desperately trying to not let me have a bond

If I understand your question, you are presumed innocent -- even on the new charges -- until proven guilty. So while it can be considered for a bond, the new charges won't be considered for the probation or parole unless you are found guilty. So you should try very hard to beat those new charges. It would be a good idea to talk to attorneys to possibly help you with those charges.
