Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Can a judge reside over the same protective order case and find insufficient evidence and then rule on the criminal case using the same evidence and find you guilty? Is there some kind of ethical or rights violation going on here? Virginia!

The protective order case is a civil matter that must have involved legal issues substantially different from the criminal case for which you were apparently prosecuted and convicted based upon facts and law that were beyond reasonable doubt.
And, therefore, one must conclude that there was no "ethical or rights
violation going on" in these two distinct and separate legal matters.
