Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

In June of 2009 I was "caught" with a small amount of Methamphetamine and smaill amount of marijuana. The investigators wanted me to work for them in order for the charges to go away. I tried to help them but the person they wanted me to get for them quit dealing drugs - I moved out of state and haven't heard anything since. What, if anything could happen?
