Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
In June of 2009 I was "caught" with a small amount of Methamphetamine and smaill amount of marijuana. The investigators wanted me to work for them in order for the charges to go away. I tried to help them but the person they wanted me to get for them quit dealing drugs - I moved out of state and haven't heard anything since. What, if anything could happen?

You could still be charged, but could cite the alleged agreement not as defense to the charge of possession but as a mitigating circumstance over which you had no control.

In Virginia there is not statute of limitations on felonies. The police may bring a felony charge against you at any time. Best to hire an attorney to handle.
