Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
What happens when there are jurors in a murder case that knows the witnesses in the case? There are also neighbors of the detective on the case as jurors? Is this grounds for their removal as jurors?

Presumably these various alleged acquaintanceships were made known to the court as well as to the lawyers during the jury picking process and for whatever reason(s) were not deemed sufficiently objectionable to warrant striking them as jurors.
