Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Kicked in door
my boyfriend kicked in our door in our apt complex. Police were called. They called me a week later and said they want to charge him but they need a statement from me. I dont want him to be charged with anything. The door is fixed now. Can they charge without my statement?

Re: Kicked in door
Probably, but without your sworn testimony, their case is likely to go nowhere.
