Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

about a lawyer taking their money

If your grandmother leaves you property and other grandchildren land but the one decides that is the power of attorney decides she wants the money and not the land so she decides to sell it. If you hire a lawyer to say she lied about everyone agreeing that they did want their land and when they had court day the lawyer did not let them know about it and said they agreeded without knowing this isn't this wrong. They found out by the other grandchild that wanted the money. Their lawyer said this is how you follow the process. My children were done wrong by the law. Now they don't trust anyone and the lawyer did it to them 2 more times about court day and the only way they do was on the computer checking with the court system. Is this way lawyers treat their clients take their money and no contact. My children have never been to the court system, they have been taught to listen to the law.

Re: about a lawyer taking their money

If all that you claim is true, then your children should be filing a complaint against this lawyer with the Virginia State Bar. (See www.vsb.org.)
