Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
If I am left a voice mail on my cell phone (by a county detective) informing me that a jurisdiction is trying to locate my son (who has outstanding warrants), and I think I know the whereabouts of my son, am I legally obligated to call the detective back and if so, am I legally required to divulge the location of my son. My son is not with me. The warrants are for forgery and grand larceny (if that makes any difference)
