Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Is it legal for probation officer to take photo of you?
Is it against the law if your probation officer take a picture of you-even when you told the probation officer that you do not want to take a picture? The probation officer says the picture is for mine/his records. If it is illegal, what law does this fall under and what can I do about it?

Such photos are quite likely a standard part of processing a convicted defendant for probation purposes in that particular jurisdiction and would not be "against the law" in my opinion.
