Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I live in Virginia and hired someone to do some work for me. after 10 months he got mad and walked off the job leaving his tools behind. after about a week or so he showed up to reclaim and says some of his things are gone and had threatened to have us arrested citing that it is a felony to not give him something back that clearly wasn't his to begin with. What do we do?

So, continue to refuse to give over to this bogus claimant what clearly
doesn't belong to him (would be my advice).
