How long to you have to file a reconsideration? What is the procedure? Can a court appointed lawyer charge for a reconsideration?

Generally, 10 days from date of verdict/judgment if in the general district
court; 30 days from such date in circuit court.
Request by motion filed with court.
Likely depends upon the scope of the court-appointed attorney's
initial agreed upon representation, i.e., whether it includes only matters through trial or any post-trial matters such as a reconsideration.
