Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
lost my job in march 2009, because of a conviction in 2005 of poss of paraphernalia,I'm having problems finding another one, I'm a resident of Virginia and not a drug user, employers are suggesting i try to have the charge expunged, is this possible?

No, not if you were convicted of the crime. (Virginia law needs to be changed to allow for expungement of records of misdemeanor convictions for first time offenders.)
