Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I had a marijuana charge when I was 17 and I got first defender status. I just recently turned 18 on February 14. I was with my friend and he got a marijuana charge and contributing to a minor that night. I'm apparently getting a summons in the mail soon for possession of marijuana also. I currently have a part time job, currently in my senior year making honor roll, and am in counseling with negitive drug screens. What are the possible outcomes for this up coming charge?

The first offender resolution has a probationary period of 1 year - during which time if you commit another offense, the first offender charge will come back in full swing with a guilty plea. You need to call a lawyer to discuss both cases.
