Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
What happens when you miss a court date in virginia for being behind on your child support. I just found out there is a warrent for my arrest. I didnt change my address so I didnt receive the papers.

You probably have 2 separate charges: nonpayment of support and failure to appear. As to the failure to appear, explain why you did not appear. As to the non-payment, you will still be found guilty if you have not paid.
