Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Missed court date
I missed a court date because I never recieved notice to go and am wondering what the consequences will be. I have never been in troulbe before and have never missed a court date that I have been summonced to.

Better contact the clerk's office to
check on the status of your case and
determine whether any warrants have been issued due to your failure to appear. If so, call the Sheriff's Department and offer to come down to settle matters. If not, ask the clerk whether you can get a new date established for the last court appearance which you missed.
