Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Mortgage note forgery
I forged my husband's signature so that I could re-finance our mortgage loan. He has decided not to press charges, but is there any way for us to get out of the loan's terms and conditions? It carries some hefty pre-payment penalties. It's a five year ARM.
Thank you for your help.

Re: Mortgage note forgery
You should seek to consult with an attorney to review the terms and conditions of the mortgage loan who should then be able to advise you about a proper course of action.
