Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Odd question: If, at a restaurant, the person sitting opposite you starts to shake the table (...not violently) in hopes of you choking on your soda, is that still considered attempted murder? The person was remorseful and said that they had severe mental illness-- does he need to be turned in?

"Turned in" for what; shaking a restaurant's table? No, I think not (even if this shakng was
done in the hope that it would have dire consequences on your ability to breathe).
Perhaps, it's time for you to consider a different lunchmate?
