Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Opened alcohol container law violation- can it be romved from my records?
4 years ago I was cited for the violation of the state opened alcohol container law. A Police man saw me with an opened beer can at a parking lot of a friends house and told me that i was in violation of the state law; therefore, handed me a citatin. Afterwards, I went to a court and pled guilty and paid a fine of $10 + a court fee. This is a very minor crime (its a misdemeanor), however, its still shows up on my criminal record as a conviction, and I would like to know if there is anyway to remove it from my records?
Thanks in advance!

No, there is not, unless you were wrongfully convicted of it.
