When the operator of a motor vehicle intentionally runs into another occupied motor vehicle, what criminal or traffic charge is applicable under Virginia Code?

Might involve anything from reckless driving to attempted murder (assuming no homicide actually occurred) with a range of possibilities in between, depending, of course, upon the relevant facts that might pertain to the particular situation as it occurred. (my opinion).
