pardon
If you have been charged with misdemeanor embezzlement 20 years ago and have not committed any offenses since then, can you have that information expunged from your record or is a pardon the only option?

It now appears that misdemeanor offenses for first time offenders may be expungable under Va. Code Sec. 19.2-392.2(C), unless the Commonwealth has "just cause" to object.
