what can i do to have this person up on charges & hopefully get my money.
contract reads as
I agree to give $25,000. as--50% partner in the _ concert that will be held at the center on date.
In return I will receive $30,000. or 50% of the profit made by which ever amount is greater, to be paid to the night of the event. In the event the the show does not happen or the concert does not profit or the profit is minimal agrees to pay back __ $30,000. by the 30th of july 2002.
I hereby agree to the above terms and conditions.

I have ask for receipts as to where my money has been spent he has nothing to show. I have ask that the center be told to cut me 50% of the check that night and he has refused. Can I put--name removed--hold on thoses funds from that night? And can he be convicted of--name removed--crime like fraud or other if everthing fails & he never put my money into this?
Concert is 7/25 need to do something fast.
At this time he will not return my calls.

From your question posed in this forum, it's difficult to determine what remedy, if any may avail you in this situation, particularly, in

view of the fact that one one of the key dates of the contract, i.e , the 30th of July, 2002,which

calls for certain performance by this person who you believe is out to defraud you, is still some three weeks away.
