Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I am a person who plead guilty in VA to a non-violent felony 20 yrs ago. My wife has never had any legal problems. She has inherited a older pistol from her grandfather and wants to keep it for personal protection. Would I be in violation of Virginia's felony gun laws if she keeps it here in our home?

No, as long as you don't personally handle this firearm for any reason whatsoever (in my opinion).
