Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
If the police investigate a suspicious occurrence, but determine that there is not enough evidence to prosecute a crime, are their findings available to the public?
Does the "Freedom of Information Act" apply here? How may a citizen obtain this information?

No, their findings are not avaiIable to the general public in
such a matter nor are they (as far as I am aware) subject
to revelation under the FOIA.
