Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Possesion of Cocaine
I was pulled over for doing 83 in a 65.I was searched and I had my brothers shorts on and he had scales in there.The cop asked if I had drugs and I said no and I freely told him to check me and check my car.I told him to get a dog and check it.I had people in my car but I think it was my brothers.I had a passenger with me but it wasnt his.there was no other cops present and he didnt check it to see if it was cocaine.so he took us to jail and i got out on a 7500.00 bond.The question is what can they do cause I know it wasn't mine and I know it wasn't his.

Get a criminal defense lawyer. If you can't afford to hire one, request the court to appoint you one.
