Re: possesion of marjianua
A person convicted in the Commonwealth for the possession of marijuana as a second such offense is adjudged guilty of a Clas 1 misdemeanor which is punishable by a fine of up to $2500 and 12 months in the county/city jail, either or both. (See Va. Code Sec. 18.2-250.1.)
