Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
possession
I was recently charged with possession of alcohol at a party in the state of virginia. The officers never gave me a breathalizer to show that i had been drinking nor did i admit to the alcohol being mine or knowing who's it was. Not to mention that i was a designated driver that night. Basically i feel that i am being charged for just being around beers at someone's house. What do you think the chances that this will hold up in court are? Do you think that i will be convicted or the charges will be dropped considering the circumstances?

Re: possession
A lawyer might get you off; less likely if you try to handle it yourself.
