Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I'm on pre-trial diversion in Tennessee but i live in Virginia. I was given 2 years unsupervised probation for felony possession of marijuana. About a year after being on probation i plead guilty to petit larceny. I've paid all of my fines/restitution and passed the initial drug test. When my diversion program is over and I fill out my expungement form will the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation or Court/District Attorney do an updated background check on me? What are the chances that they will find out about my misdemeanor?

Quite likely since Tennessee borders the Commonwealth and the two
states share a lot of information, including criminal records that
may impact one another.
