Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Prior Felony Conviction
Fiancee convicted of a felony over 10 years ago, 6mths served. Prior Military traveled world. Would like to honeymoon overseas, how can he go about having passport reinstated? Conviction was in VA.

Apply. A felony is not a bar to getting a passport. It may bar you from getting a visa into certain countries. Check with the Country you want to visit by contacting their consulate in NY or Washington DC. You can also contact our State Dept. for more information.
