Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

I would like to know if its probable for someone to be found guilty on abduction charges when the person claiming abduction, set you up to get robbed in a car and you pull off with that person in the car while your being fired at with a gun. However, it wasnt known at the time that this specific person set the driver up until the next day when charges were filed for abduction on the driver. The person claiming abduction tried convincing the driver that he/she had no insight on what was going to happen, but knew she wasnt sounding believable. This is when later charges were filed so she/he wouldnt get caught up in what happened. However the person claiming abduction told the police the truth ablut the robbery and gun shots, but left herself out of the mix.

Better get a competent criminal defense counsel to answer this particular question as your attorney(if in fact you've been charged--or are about to be charged--in the matter.)
