Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Probation Two Cities
My boyfriend was on probation in Norfolk (supervised) and cheasapeake (non-supervised) he violated and was sentenced to 1yr in both. My question is the days he spent in jail awaiting trial do they automaticly go to one or the other or both.

Re: Probation Two Cities
Could depend upon how the sentencing order actually reads. He should definitely receive credit in the jurisdiction where he was actually held pretrial. Whether that, however, would apply to the other one where he was not, may be up to the jail authorities there.
