Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
If someone is on probation for possession of cocaine, and they are violated 1 year and 7 months after the offense has taken place, they are working steadily, and are expecting a child, what should eb done to ensure that they do not have to see that 2 years completely if anything at all and what is the worst that may happen?

Hire a competent criminal counsel.
The worst that could happen would likely be that the defendant would be sent to a DOC facility to serve all of the sentence remaining which had been previously suspended.
