Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

Probation Violation

I have an upcoming case for an old probation violation charge from 2001. I was in the military, got a driving while licence revoked charged and was placed on probation.

Three years with the possibility of getting off after one year if all fines and restitution was paid. Paid everything then got out of the milary 2002. Probation officer told me that i was getting off early. Three years later I find out that I had a warrant for probation violation. I have gotten other charges since 2001. But they have been dealt with.

How do I avoid jail time, because I am the guardian of my two small children and my mother who suffered a stroke last year and can not live unsupervised.

Re: Probation Violation

You had best arrange to hire an attorney---sooner rather than later--- to represent you in this matter. If you cannot afford to hire one on your own, then ask the court to appoint one for you.
