Depends upon what you seek to expunge. As a practical matter, the records of felony convictions are not expungable in the Commonwealth. However, it does appear possible to have a one time misdemeanor conviction expunged. See Va. Code Sec. 19.2-392.2 (F) and related subsection for instructions as to filing the required petition.
