Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
He on prolal for nine years now.
My son is in alot of trouble.He could get twenty to twenty five years.My Queston is once some gets a warrent for car theft can the warrent be lifted if other party is willing to do so.

No, once the charge(s)have been brought, only the prosecutor can dismiss them before trial, unless the court finds after a preliminary hearing on the matter that there was insufficinet probable cause to file them in the first place.
