Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
prostitution
someone i know got caught being an escort, and the man paid her for her time and it was a sting, and the police let her go providing she helps them bring down the person she works for. if she decides not to help the police can they bring the charges against her, even though they never gave her a sitation, or brought her to jail?

Yes, of course, if it's a misdemeanor and brought within one year of the date of the alleged offense.
