Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
question on sex offenders
I didn't know what area to put this in and the state really is to all. my who lives in va now but maybe moving to tx or another state cause of work he is a sex offender i have know him for a long time and trust him but is he allowed to be around kids at all hes gone and did all his probation etc and hes listed as not a threat i was just wondering what the laws on that were thanks

You might want to check with this person's last Virginia probation officer(Virginia Department of Probation and Parole), but if he's completed it(probation) and no longer has probationary status, chances are, except for the reporting requirement of his name and address to the state sex offender list, there are no other particular state laws with which he must specifically comply.
