Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
My question is trichocerous peruvianus, a cactus aka peruvian torch, illegal to possess or sell? I was recently charged with distribution. I am unemployed and need assistance badly to turn my life around at this point.

If you've been charged with illegal possession/distribution of a controlled substance known as Peruvian Torch, then, yes, it very likely is illegal to possess or sell.
And, if you're unemployed and cannot afford to hire counsel, then you should ask the court to appoint an attorney to represent you in this matter.
