Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Questioning a minor
My daughter was removed from her classroom at school and questioned about her involvement in a possible crime. Do they have to contact the parent or guardian before they question my daughter especially if she was not read her rights?

I don't think so. They would not need to read her any rights.
