receiving restitution
someone was ordered to pay us restitution 6 months ago we havent received anything what can we do?

If you mean that a court entered a judgment against this "someone" for damages which were to be payable to you, it will be up to you (and not the court) to enforce the judgment in order for you to receive payment.
If the judgment is sizeable and you have no idea as to what you should do to enforce it, you may wish to retain an attorney to assist you with the matter.
