Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Hello. I recently received a jail sentence of 12 days for a violation of probation. When I served my weekend time the jail told me I had 16 days when my paper from the court clearly states 12 days. My public defender said there was nothing she could do. I want to fight this. Please give me advice!

Go to the clerk's office of the court in which you were convicted
and demand an emergency hearing on the matter.
