Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Record Ex-spongement
How would I go about getting my record exsponged? One charge. over 15 years ago. How much would it cost? How long does it take? The charge was '' Failing to report my income in a timely manner'' Thats the way it was put to me, by the worker. When we got to court It became welfare fraud. The charge was reduced to a mistamenor.

Re: Record Ex-spongement
The record of conviction, even if only for a misdemeanor, may not be expunged unless you were wrongfully convicted of the offense and have the evidence to prove it.
