Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

seach warrent

My wife recently tip the police that i was trying to grow marijuania after a fight we had. the search warrent states the location, and for all items associated with the sale and possession of marijuania. I was charged with possession because there was no intent to sale. But during the seach they searched my tool box which was in the kitchen, also my guitar. they ran the serial numbers on my guitars and one of my tools. A impact wrench was reported to be stolen from carter machinery. The tool in question was a gift from my father in-law. My wife clarified this too with the investagator. my inlaw worked for carter but is now out of bis. will i get the tool back? what will happen to inlaw?. what will happen to me? at court for possession? first offense will i lose driving privlage? thank you

Re: seach warrent

These are all good questions which you should be asking your competent criminal defense counsel

which you must retain very soon (if you have not already done so)or ask the court to appoint you such counsel in the event that you cannot afford to hire one.

You must have an attorney to represent you in this matter and should not attempt to deal with it on your own without such assistance.
