Sentence reduction
What is Sentence reduction in VA?
Is it applicable to State inmates or
only Federal inmates ?Can we do
any thing to appeal the sentence
since our son is already in
DOC.How will the Governors recent
budget balancing news affect
inmates in DOC?Is there a chance
there will be some form of sentence
reduction for atleast non violent
inmates ?

No, I see no probability whatsoever of any general reduction in the sentences of inmates in the custody of the DOC at any time in the foreseeable future, irrespective of whether they be incarcerated for violent or nonviolent crimes.
