Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

Sex Crimes
I have a girl friend who lives in Virgina. We have had sex before but haven't sents March 4 2005 the day before i turned 18 she is 16 and turned 16 April 25 2005. Her parents are threating to press charges on me I don't think it is illegal for minors to have sex in Virginia but i want to make sure. Is it illegal for minors to have sex in Virginia? Her mother used to let us sleep in the same bed even. But after i turned 18 is Kicked me out of her house and stoled 200 dollars off of me. Man i feel stupid.

OK you were 17 and she was 15.

First of all - SHAME ON YOU. Second of all - SHAME ON THAT GIRL'S PARENT!

If the sex was not by force, threat or intimidation, and she was over 13 and you were under 18, then it is not a crime to have sex in Virginia.

I have three daughters - DO NOT TELL THEM THIS!
