i had sex with a 17 year old and im 19. her mom is trying to press statutory rape chargers. what do i do?

Not to worry about being charged for statutory rape on these facts--Va, law requires
an alleged child victim to be under age 13 for such a charge to stand. (See Va. Code Sec.18.2-370--Taking indecent liberties with children; penalties.)
