Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
shoplifting concealment of merchandise
If the subject did not have the merchandises when he was stopped, but there were 5 witness that, they saw him concealing the items into his pockets ; According Virginia law and Jurisprudences:
Is GUILTY or not guilty for CONCEALMENT?

If the five witnesses testified at the trial of the case and the trier of fact(the judge) found their testimony persuasive, and the evidence taken as a whole against the defendant beyond reasonable doubt, then the verdict will(and should) be guilty.
