Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Show Cause - Misdemeaner
If someone has 11 felony convictions (nothing since 1986), can they be show caused on a misdemeanor assault & battery? If the come back time is 35 years, how much of that is likely to be imposed?

Re: Show Cause - Misdemeaner
If parole and/or probation for these 11 felony convictions has expired more than ten years prior to the commission of the misdemeanor offense, "the come back time" as you term it
most likely cannot or will not be imposed against you under a Rule To Show Cause.
