Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I sold a shipping service on Ebay, where I would receive their packages and forward them. One of my buyers sent me some packages and I forwarded to him. Later I found out he had used a stolen credit card to purchase his items. What kind of legal trouble can I get into over this, and am I liable for any damages?

Hard to say at this point. In order to convict you of the offense of unlawful use of this credit card(or something similar), the prosecutor would at the very least have to prove to the trier of fact in the case beyond reasonable doubt that you knowingly and intentionally participated in this fraudulent operation knowing that the card used to purchase these items which you then transhipped had in fact been stolen.
